Each year for the past 250 years, SCMS has participated in a kickoff magazine sale. Let me start by saying that I HATE fundraisers. For those that know me, know that I was a hockey parent, which means our family has been involved with every type of fundraiser known to man. But, with that said, this magazine sale has allowed us to purchase "extras" that other wise we could not afford. From repairs to equipment, to scholarshiping students to certain events, to bringing in guest speakers, this money has really helped our students. Here are the nuts and bolts:
SCMS Magazine Fundraiser will begin on September 6, 2011 with an assembly. On Wednesday, September 7th the address booklets are due. The students will bring their completed book to lunch with them. This booklet is for out of town family/friends that are interested in ordering magazines through QSP and this would help SCMS students. You may also order on line at qsp.com. Our school online code is 1078949 . Another option is the Pay Later Program. Simply fill out the Pay Later form (in the booklet) and have your student return to SCMS on September 14th and/or September 21st during lunch. QSP will send a bill directly to the purchasers address given. Prizes will be awarded for all orders purchased during our fundraiser - September 6 through September 21. Prizes that will be included in our campaign (if the required number of sales are returned per student are: Air Extreme with cash cube, Spin the Wheel for cash, etc., and one lucky SCMS student will win an i-Touch.
All help in supporting SCMS through the Magazine Sale is appreciated as the students benefit from this effort.
