Penny Wars....Amazing

Last week our NJHS hosted a contest to raise money for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Their idea was simple, each last hour class would have a container that students would put pennies in and the class with the most change at the end of the week would win the contest....with a slight twist. The twist was that if someone put anything but pennies in the container, that amount of money would count against that class. For example, if someone put a quarter in the jar, that would be a negative 25 cents. When all was said and done, the winner was the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. SCMS raised $2499.60.
